Meet the Pastor Herb Perry

Herb Perry has been Pastor since 1994. Putnam is a historical site of the Underground Railroad. In 2011 the church started the Japanese Connection by partnering to send Ellie Honea as a missionary on a 2 year program. Herb is an ordained Elder with the Presbyterian Church USA. Also in 2011 the church started an Alcoholics Anonymous 12 step program 2 days a week and continues to support monthly the South Zanesville Food Pantry on the Southside of town. He has a BS degree in Management from Ohio University, Masters of Ministry and Doctor of Ministry from Carolina University of Theology.

Herb Perry lives in South Zanesville, Ohio. His daughter Courtney and her husband Matt live in Upper Sandusky, Ohio with their son Parker and daughter Ella. Herb is retired from Maysville Local School District where he worked as Director of After School Programs. He also coached middle school girl’s basketball for 5 years. Currently he does home instruction for Zanesville City School working with high school boys.

Friday evening at 7pm there is a 12 step AA program
